The Rowswell family, including their son, Jordan, and daughter, Jamie, have welcomed sportsmen from all over the world to their operations. They operate the fly-in fishing and hunting camp in summer and autumn.

Wheeler River Lodge is located in north central Saskatchewan, about 180 air-miles north of Lac La Ronge. Clients can drive to the float plane base at Otter Lake where they will board a float-plane for the 75 minute flight (135 miles). Experiencing the power and thrill of taking-off in DeHaviland Beaver, Otter, or Twin Otter makes for an incredible start to your northern adventure. Fishing is catch and release on the many lakes that your guide will take you to. Of course northern Saskatchewan shore-lunches, featuring your freshly caught fish are standard fare.

Naturally the waterfowl hunts are autumn only and are based at the Rowswell's beautiful farm - which just happens to be located in "waterfowl heaven"!
